How The Club Works
Polnoon is run by a committee of volunteers, which is elected each year at the Club AGM. The Committee meets once a month to discuss Club business and to plan events. Annual Open events are run by sub-committeees, appointed by the full committee.
In November of each year, the Annual General Meeting of the Club is held. This meeting is the formal event where members can ensure that the Club is run properly. It is at the AGM that committee members are elected.
If you are interested in being a committee member, please contact any current committee member.
Contrary to the occasional rumour, the committee members receive no benefits for their work, other than the thanks of the Club Members!
The Club has a written Constitution, which gives the rules by which the Committee operates. This was last amended in 2009, to bring it up-to-date with current policy.

Being a member of Polnoon should be fun. We should have fun with our horses and fun with our friends. I look after Polnoon teams and I always tell them, before a competition, to have fun and enjoy themselves. We all do this because we love our horses. That is what it is all about. |

Roxanna with her stage II has a cheeky tbx gelding bred by easterton stud out of business link who is now 8 and do a bit of everything and does really well. He loves to jump so will be doing more of this. I live in east kilbride and have a 10yr old son who is not into horses. I also love sunshine, crisps, tea, toffee crisps, cauliflower cheese, my car our guineapigs and cat! oh and polnoon! |
