Polnoon Show Jumps

Late in 2007, the Club worked hard to present a case for an Awards for All grant to purchase a set of show jumps. Gillian Beattie wrote the application with help from SEA and the sum of £5,500 was granted. During last year, a set of jumps was ordered from Jump for Joy and a trailer purchased to store and transport them. A number of sponsors were generous in their donations to add funds to the project. The Club itself contributed £1,200 to the cost. The results are there for all to see. Linda Anderson has agreed to keep the jumps at her Rehabilitation Stables at West Kype near Strathaven. The jumps are set up in a field for use by Club members. Other riders can use the jumps for a fee. This is a marvelous asset for Polnoon. As you see from the photos, they look fabulous.
